Managing Key Workplace Relationships

Managing Stakeholders

Managing Stakeholders is a one-day workshop for people who want to build and maintain long term, productive relationships with their key stakeholders. It will particularly suit you if your stakeholder relationships have become strained or fractious, or if your stakeholders do not see the full value of your work. The workshop will enable you to articulate how you see your stakeholder, how your stakeholder sees you, and the ways in which you would like change your stakeholder’s perception of you.  The workshop will explore practical ways in which to build and maintain the trust of your stakeholder, presents a framework for understanding the political context of your stakeholder relationships, and explores effective methods of resolving conflict with your stakeholder.

Style at Work

Style at Work is for people who need to work with colleagues whose values, approach and style differ from their own. Typically, you are challenged by the need to manage a key relationship at work: you may not see much value in the way your colleague handles things, may want to do things in a different way to them or may be unable to work productively with them.

The workshop will provide you with feedback on your values, style strengths and areas for development. You will examine how you are likely to come across to your colleague and how they come across to you, especially when the impact you have is different from what you intend. You will gain insight and understanding into how to flex your style with the different needs of your colleague so that you can establish a more productive dialogue. The workshop will enable you to identify practical steps which you could take to build a more effective relationship with your colleague and includes a tailor-made role-play in which you can practise these skills.
