Effective Negotiating Skills is a two-day programme for people involved in telephone or face–to–face negotiations. It will equip you with the essential, key skills you will need to be an effective negotiator. The workshop includes: understanding what negotiating is; the process of a negotiation; recognising your strengths and areas for development as a negotiator; how to remain in control during challenging negotiations; and how to read other negotiators′ styles and values accurately. Advanced Negotiating Skills is a two-day programme for more experienced negotiators. You are likely to be regularly involved in dual and single handed face–to–face or telephone negotiations. Some of these negotiations take place in highly pressured situations, others in more collaborative environments. The workshops will equip you with four key skills which will enable you to handle the most challenging of negotiations. These skills are: building and sustaining trust with other negotiators; resolving points of conflict for mutual gain; optimising your sources of personal power, and managing the impact of your negotiating style on other negotiators. The workshop features enacted scenarios with professional actors so that you can practise your new skills.
Core Negotiating Strategies and Skills for Project Financiers
Core Negotiating Strategies and Skills for Project Financiers is a specialist three-day programme. It will suit you if you work in Project Finance, Acquisition Finance or a role where you need to maintain a long–term relationship with the other negotiators, but also need to secure the best deal for your organisation in each specific negotiation. The workshop will introduce you to seven key negotiating tools, which between them will enable you to recognise and handle the dynamics that under–pin complex, symbiotic negotiations.
The workshop will provide you with immediate practical guidance in how to keep your eye on their favoured outcomes while still remaining open to discussions. You will receive input on resolving conflict in negotiations, building rapport and trust with other negotiators, influencing other negotiators, using your personal power effectively in a negotiation, understanding your own and other negotiators’ value systems, maintaining control of the political element in a negotiating process and managing your time effectively.
