The Psychology of Selling
The Psychology of Selling is a two-day programme for salespeople who need to build and maintain effective, long-term relationships with a range of customers. It will equip you with the skills, insights and selling tools you need to gain and retain influence with each of your contacts. The message of the workshop is that it is your ability to tailor your approach to each contact which will enable you to build commitment on their part. The workshop focuses on how to engage with each customer, demonstrate understanding of their needs, position your offer effectively, and handle any objections and concerns skilfully. The workshop includes lessons from business psychology which will enable you to learn about your own strengths as a sales person, make accurate distinctions between your values and those of your sales contact, sell to their values, and handle disagreement and conflict in the meeting effectively. The workshop includes an opportunity to re-visit a selling situation in which you didn’t perform well and learn new and more effective ways of handling the issues and the character(s) involved during a roleplay with a professional actor.
